Pre-Conference Workshops

Pre-Conference Workshops

Payment for the pre-conference workshops should be paid in full prior to attending. Please contact our registration department at iafs2017-registration at icsevents.com for more information.

You will be entering a secured building and will need to bring government issued ID to access the workshops. Please note you will be given a security and workshop badge and will need to wear this at all times. If your organizer has provided workshop handouts, please locate your workshop below.

08:15 – 09:00

You will pick up your pre-conference workshop badge at the FSCC.

Breaks

A light lunch and refreshments are included at the FSCC:
Coffee – 08:15 – 09:00
Lunch – 12:00 – 13:00

Transportation

There is a complimentary bus pickup from the Sheraton Downtown Hotel to the FSCC and from the FSCC to the Sheraton, please see the schedule below:

For those people making their own way to the FSCC, please find the following directions:

  • Driving (approximately 40 minutes): Sheraton Downtown Centre, Toronto to FSCC – click here for  a map
  • Take Avenye Road and ON-401 W to Sir William Hearst Avenue in North York. Take the Keele Street exit from ON-401 W (16.7km)
  • Continue on Sir William Hearst Avenue Drive to Morton Shulman Avenue (400m)
  • Arrive at FSCC

Public Transport (approximately 50 minutes): Sheraton Downtown Centre, Toronto to FSCC – click here for the map

  • From the Sheraton Walk 400 m to the Osgoode Station and take Line 1 (Yonge-University) towards Sheppard West Station
  • Get off at Wilson and walk about 1 minute to the Wilson station bus terminal (inside the station)
  • Take any Westbound 96 Wilson bus or Westbound 165 Weston Rd North bus.
  • Get off at Wilson Ave at Agate Road West Side
  • Walk 170 m towards the FSCC

Parking

  • If you are driving to the FSCC, you are able to park in 2 different locations.
  • Government lot you will need a code to enter and pay. Government Parking Lot
  • Hospital parking lot: (1235 Wilson Avenue). Humber River Hospital
